Webinar
Logbook Deception
Wednesday, April 1, 2026, 7 p.m. CDT
Presenter: Mike Busch
FAA regulations are quite clear about what information aircraft maintenance records must contain. Two separate rules define the contents of records of inspections and records of other work like repairs, alterations, and overhauls. But as Mike Busch explains in this webinar, most logbook entries memorializing annual inspections are works of fiction that don't comply with either rule. Mike ends with an appeal to mechanics to change how they make these entries, so they describe what actually happened. Qualifies for FAA WINGS and AMT credit.
