Timeless Voices - Robert Seitz was a B-24 pilot with the 830th Bomb Squadron of the 485th Bomb Group based in Cherignola, Italy, during World War II. He was shot down on his 20th mission and spent nine months as prisoner of war.

EAA Chapter 1202 in Farmville, Virginia, got some positive and well-deserved media attention recently, when their high school build project was featured on WUSA9 news in Washington, D.C. The chapter partnered with Fuqua School to build a Zenith CH 750, not as an extracurricular club, but as a class. As it happens, WUSA9 reporter Pete Muntean, EAA 1066346, is an avid pilot himself. The Royal Australian Air Force recently finalized the planned donation of a Lockheed AP-3C Orion to the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) at Wollongong Airport (YWOL), south of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The P-3, expected to be the only flying example of the type in private hands anywhere in the world, joins a number of other large warbirds in the HARS collection, including a PBY Catalina, two P2V Neptunes, and two DHC-4 Caribous. Aviation Adventure Speaker Series - Cmdr. Meagan Flannigan

EAA Aviation Museum

Meagan Flannigan is a U.S. naval aviator. She has flown the F-14 Tomcat as well as the F-18 Super Hornet. She has accumulated more than 1,250 hours and more than 180 arrested landings. Her personal awards include the Strike/Flight Air Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, as well as various unit awards. Flannigan is an instructor pilot at VFA-106 where she is currently serving. Learn more >>
