Pilots avoid controlled airspace for many reasons, but in so doing they don’t take advantage of all the system has to offer. This course will identify reasons why pilots should communicate with ATC, utilize flight following, and embrace controlled airspace. We will identify misunderstood procedures, clarify phraseology, and demonstrate how to operate in the system more efficiently. Pilots of all experience levels will benefit from attending this course. Qualifies for FAA WINGS credit.
