What Does "Airworthy" Mean?
Wednesday, April 5, 2017 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM CDT
Presenter: Mike Busch
Mechanics often joke that there is no such thing as an "airworthy" aircraft, because it's always possible to find something wrong if you look hard enough. If our aircraft had to be "perfectly airworthy" then we would never be able to fly them. Mike Busch explores the real-world implication by discussing a recent lawsuit the outcome of which hinged on the meaning of "airworthy." Qualifies for FAA Wings and AMT credit.
